Just wanted to say thanks, again, for the amazing job you did on Chris's new
toy--he adores it. I don't think a day has passed since I gave it to him that he
hasn't mentioned how terrific it is. He has told all our friends how much cooler
it is than anything else he's seen and what a difference it makes in food prep
and the way his knives work. Sometimes I even catch him just standing in the
kitchen grinning at it! It's a rare thing to render my beloved speechless,

I've
been using the cutting board for about a week now, and I'm
really
impressed. Some of my Japanese knives scar up almost any board
in
the first few days - maple, oak, walnut even - but even after a
week
of going at it, the mesquite looks as good as it did new (which
is
really nice - people in the office were stopping by my cube all
day
to look at it, and I gave out your email a few times). On the
other
hand, they stay as sharp as ever, which is unusual in a super-
hard
board.

The
cutting board arrived yesterday. We love it. The size is perfect and the
end finger slots are very handy. It's heavy.. IWe wiped it down with
mineral oil and had to adjust one of the feet slightly to take a
wobble out, but it's rock solid now. A beautiful and functional piece.
This would make a great gift for someone we know. We may be contacting you
in the future for another one. Thanks for a job well done.

This
is going to be a great tool.. chopped for soup immediately. It is simmering as I
type.
I
turned the board in a couple of directions and it looks good at
any angle.
You
are an artist! Not shiny! (Whew!!) Can't find my screwdrivers.. put
paper to shim it in two spots.. afraid to put it too close to the stove..(does
not need shimming there) the heat might damage it?
Wish I
got a bigger one.. but this is originally intended for cheese and fruit as I
take from frig and place on counter.
The
island is still a concept.. looking. Get a bigger one for that.
Mesquite board fits
in like it has lived with me for years. Even the cat is blasé.. and he is
always inspecting and carrying on!

spoke with my contractor last night and the board arrived safely. He is so
impressed with the cutting board that he is going to change the opening it is to
be installed in rather than cut the board. He said "it was the most
beautiful cutting board he has ever seen." I can't wait to see it
installed.

What a stunning cutting block! It truly is gorgeous, and it's ridiculously
well built. I've done a fair amount of hobby wood working in my day, and I
can always spot quality work. This cutting block is right up there with
the best I've seen.

outdid yourself with this table. I am not a woodworker, but I am very impressed.
My brother knows more than me and he was particularly impressed with the legs
and how so many joints of wood were unnoticeable. He said he could tell how much
work went into this table, a lot! I love the color and quality of this wood, it
looked lighter in the pictures but I prefer the darker reddish colors. Your
packing job was also a work of art. Thanks.
I
would like to commission you to make me a coffee table with the same quality and
color of wood, long grain, 32" X 42" with 18" legs (can be
straight legs exactly the same as this table) The table top boards should be as
large and few as possible, although as good as you are at combining boards it
wouldn't matter. Some people like the rustic look of wormwood and log
furniture but I prefer the refined wood and look of
this table. The edges of the table should be simple straight boards.
I do like the unique character of burls and swirls, just not too many knots. Please
make me a proposal and send me pictures of any tables you have made before. I am
open to suggestions, nothing is set in stone. I have seen some tables
that have been made with boards with beautiful swirls that were sawed in half to
make matching shadow patterns. Thanks for a job well done,

delivery guy left the parcel outside in the rain ALL DAY. I didn't see it until later
in the night....It was paper recycling night so I was out getting all my
cardboard ready for the curb... I saw the box and thought OH
NO....I brought it inside right away and lay it down on the living room
floor....WET. I carefully cut it open and guess what??? PERFECT!!!
BEAUTIFUL!!! QUALITY!!! I had you going there didn't I...you thought Uh
oh....trouble....But there was no trouble at all....the box you made
for the stuff was sturdy AND waterproof. I really like these boards... I
don't think my sister stands a chance of getting the smaller
board...they're both mine...

It's a good thing because when it arrived there were 3 fork lift holes on 3
sides of the box. Fortunately, you packed it so well, there wasn't any

WOW.
At a loss for words, Vaughn. My only real regret is that I can't leave you
feedback on eBay - and even then wouldn't have enough room to express my
complete satisfaction with this whole transaction. By ordering the size I WANTED
from you I got exactly what I needed, not any more, not any less. You knocked
this board out in less than a week and had it shipped to me and packed so damn
good I can't even find complaint with the shipping price (which is generally my
biggest beef when dealing with any transaction via online). This was the most
pleasant transaction I have had in one heck of a long time. The board is
exquisite and actually, after saying I was reluctant to use it... can't wait to!
If I have a notion to buy one for an xmas present I will certainly be in touch.
